Toddler Bed Transition

A week or so ago, Kaylee climbed out of her crib and would not sleep in her bed. She would climb out and then climb back in to get stuffed animals or a blanket and then climb back out to play with them. Then she would climb back in to get more and climb back out to play. That night she slept on the floor. The next night she did the same thing, but ultimately climbed back in to go to sleep. The next day was Easter. She would not go to sleep for her nap and climbed out again. I told her if she climbed out again, the Easter Bunny was going to come and take back the tricycle he had just brought her that morning. This did not phase her at all, because she did it again. So, Mr. Easter Bunny took back the trike and she did not take a nap. That night coming home from my parents house, she fell asleep in the car, so when we got home, we put her in the crib and she stayed there all night as she was already asleep. The rest of the week went that way too. Until Friday.....She slept on the floor again that night and Saturday too. Then on Sunday, when she wouldn't nap again, we converted it to a toddler bed. That night we had gone to dinner for my brother-in-law's birthday, and again she feel asleep in the car on the way home. So, she slept in her new bed that night, but every night since she has slept on the floor. I don't know if she just needs to adjust to it or if she just doesn't like it. I feel terrible with her sleepting on the floor, but it does not seem to bother her at all.

Any thoughts on this??? I'd appreciate any ideas or advice.

Potty Training Update

Well, from that first day she told me she didn't need diapers anymore, things have been great on the potty training front. She has been near perfect and I would say is completely daytime trained. She tells us when she needs to go, tells her teachers when she needs to go and must go at every store and/or restaurant we visit. It is quite funny, but if she knows we are going somewhere she will tell us in the car, "Mommy, I need to go pee pee at the store" or "Mama, I need to go poo poo at the restaurant? She even wakes up with dry night time panties (AKA pull-ups) much of the time.

We are so proud of her and can't believe she is growing up so fast. She is so very strong willed and I never dreamed this would be so easy. Other things are not easy (see next post), so we will be happy with this.
